Well, it’s official: Chicago will not be the site of Amazon’s HQ2. So, now what, Chicago?
Much of the answer lies in Chicago’s HQ2 pitch and proposal, which laid out a number of incentives that would have given Amazon access to the talent, infrastructure, resources and governmental support that would have set the company up to continue on its path toward total world domination (and create upward of 50,000 jobs).
